Great for Team Accessibility

Box is user-friendly which has allowed my team and I to overcome problems of needless time consumption. Research projects take up a lot of time because of the amount of data that needs to be uploaded and analyzed. However, Box has enabled my team to effectively work together and independently while maintaining the ethical guidelines of research.

Pros

As a tutor and a researcher, I love being able to upload videos of lesson plans and lectures so that my team and those I am working for are able to look back on what I said. Another thing I love about Box is how you can share multiple files with anyone you want and you are able to view who has downloaded something to maintain privacy and confidentiality. Box is especially useful for big groups of people. Everything is extremely accessible and easy to learn how to use. I recommend Box to my colleagues in research who want a safe way of maintaining confidentiality in research projects.

Cons

I do not have any problems with Box so far and I have been using Box for most of my college experience. I have used it for research, tutoring, and collaboration projects.

My overall experience with Box has been highly positive. The app has provided me with a reliable and efficient solution for managing and organizing my files.Box offers a user-friendly interface that makes it easy to upload, store, and access my documents. The robust search function helps me quickly find specific files, saving me time and effort.Collaboration is seamless with shared folders and granular permissions, allowing me to work effectively with colleagues and clients. The integration with other tools has further enhanced my productivity. The security measures implemented by Box, such as secure login and access controls, have given me confidence in the protection of my sensitive data. While there are areas for improvement, such as storage limitations and occasional delays in file uploads or downloads, the overall experience with Box has been reliable and valuable for my file management needs.I highly recommend Box to anyone in need of a trustworthy and user-friendly solution for file management

Pros

What I like most about the Box app is its outstanding set of features that streamline my file management tasks. From secure storage and seamless backup and recovery to efficient document sharing and robust access controls, Box covers all aspects of my file management needs. The app's user-friendly interface and intuitive design make it a pleasure to navigate and manage my files. I can easily upload, organize, and search for documents, saving me valuable time and effort.Collaboration is made effortless with the Box app's shared folders and granular permissions. I can securely share files with colleagues, clients, or project partners, enhancing teamwork and productivity.Furthermore, the Box app's robust security measures, such as secure login and data encryption, ensure the confidentiality of my sensitive information. In summary, the Box app offers a comprehensive and reliable solution for file management. Its outstanding features, user-friendly interface, and strong security measures make it my go-to choice for managing and organizing my files effectively.

Cons

While the Box app has many great features, there are a few areas that I believe could be improved for an even better user experience. One aspect I found lacking is the limited storage space provided in the free version. As someone who deals with a large volume of files, I quickly reached the storage limit and had to upgrade to a paid plan. It would be beneficial if the free storage allowance could be increased to accommodate a wider range of user needs.Another area that could use improvement is the speed of file uploads and downloads. At times, I noticed that larger files took longer than expected to upload or download, which affected my workflow and productivity.Lastly, while the user interface is generally user-friendly, there were moments when I found it slightly unintuitive to navigate certain features or locate specific settings. Improving the overall interface and making it more intuitive would enhance the user experience. In summary, while the Box app offers many valuable features, there are a few areas that could be improved, such as providing more generous free storage, optimizing file upload and download speeds, and enhancing the user interface for better usability.I still believe the Box app is a reliable solution for file management, but these improvements would make it even more user-friendly and efficient

Customers not important to box

Discontinuing service. See above.

Pros

Unlimitedspace. With no extra charge. Multiple file types supported

Cons

We had requested flexibility on our licenses since our staff increases and reduces between 90-100 people.

Our admin accidentally added licenses before removing some leavers resulting in an accidental increase in the licenses.

Box would not reduce the number by 3 licenses even though this was a clear mistake.

They tried to make us pay for the remaining period of our 3 year contract. This resulted in a waste of several thousand dollars when we were in cost reduction mode.

Canceling. There are many equivalent services with better customer support and lower pricing.

A Comprehensive Cloud Storage Solution

Overall, I have had an excellent experience with Box. It is a great way to store my important documents and files securely and easily. The app allows me to access my files from anywhere and I haven't run into any major issues.

Pros

Box has been an incredible cloud storage solution for me. It is easy to use, secure and reliable. It allows me to store my important documents and files with ease. I also appreciate the flexibility of being able to access my files from anywhere with the help of their app.

Cons

One of the biggest drawbacks to Box is its limited storage capacity. While it offers enough space to store a few documents, it is not suitable for storing large amounts of data. Also, its customer support could be improved.

Box - Simplifying Content Management and Collaboration with a Dash of Flair

Box has become my go-to platform for storing and sharing my extensive collection of video files and eye-catching marketing photos. Its intuitive interface makes it a joy to use, and the seamless sharing capabilities ensure that my content reaches its intended audience with finesse. When comparing Box to Dropbox and Drive, Box shines as a dedicated content management and collaboration tool, specifically designed for creators like myself. So, if you're a content creator searching for a cloud-based platform that adds a touch of magic to your file management, Box is the enchanting choice. It keeps your content under tight lock and key, effortlessly shares your masterpieces, and adds a sprinkle of simplicity to your creative journey. Say goodbye to the chaos of scattered files and embrace the organized bliss that Box offers. Your content kingdom will thank you!

Pros

Seamless Sharing: Box shines in its ability to effortlessly share files with guests, colleagues, and clients. I can confidently send out links to my dazzling video creations and stunning photos, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for everyone involved.Robust Security: With Box, my content is locked up tighter than Fort Knox (minus the moat and drawbridge). It offers top-notch security features like encryption, access controls, and user permissions, giving me peace of mind when sharing confidential files or sensitive client projects.Intuitive User Interface: Box knows that not everyone is a tech guru, and that's where its user-friendly interface comes to the rescue. Navigating through folders, organizing files, and collaborating with teammates is a breeze. It's like having a personal assistant who understands your every content-related whim.

Cons

Limited Free Storage: While Box offers a generous free storage tier, it falls short when compared to the vast expanses of some other cloud storage platforms. Those with a penchant for amassing mountains of files might need to consider upgrading their plan to accommodate their insatiable hunger for storage space.Occasional Sync Delays: Though Box keeps my content in check, it occasionally stumbles on its way to syncing files across devices. While it usually catches up and rights itself, there have been a few moments where I had to engage in a bit of a wait-and-see game before my files were harmoniously aligned.
