About Libsyn

Libsyn is campaign management and podcast solution that helps organizations create and distribute audio, video, image, and PDF-based content across multiple external platforms. With the OnPublish module, team members can edit content, create checklists, customize destination delivery, and manage destination-specific publishing processes on a centralized platform. Libsyn enables supervisors to set episode expiration dates, offer download options, manage drafts, turn off comments, and validate RSS feeds, among other administrative functions. It allows staff members to create podcasts with details, such as episode summary, season numbers, trailer, episode type, and ratings. Additionally, managers can generate reports to gain insights into audience concentration, global popularity, agent performance, weekly trends, and other key metrics. Libsyn allows organizations to integrate the platform with several third-party solutions, such as Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, and Spotify. It also provides white-labeled customer Android and iOS mobile applications. It is available on monthly subscriptions and support is extended via FAQs, documentation, email, phone, and other online measures.

Great podcast host!

Pros

I've been using Libsyn nearly two years and really like it. It's reliable and has good analytics.

Cons

Libsyn 5 doesn't auto post to social like the old version. It's easier to use overall though.

Libsyn podcast hosting

Pros

Libsyn is easy to use and is one of the leading podcast hosting platforms. It also offers options to integrate social media and YT to automatically post onto those platforms when episodes release

Cons

Libsyn used to be a leading podcast hosting platform. Since changing over to their Libsyn 5 interface, they have had a lots of bugs. Also, they are starting to lack in their features and other podcast hosting platforms are offering much more.

Solid Podcasting Host

Overall it's a good service and I don't intend to change.

Pros

If you're looking for a paid platform for hosting your podcasts, Libsyn is a solid choice. It has good functionality, lots of options and customization, and is relatively easy to figure out and use.

Cons

Honestly the worst part of Libsyn is the look of the UI. I don't love it. Now that doesn't affect terribly how it all works, so that's a silver lining, but I would enjoy using it *more* if I liked how it looked while I was using it. Also sometimes I have had connections to our website or other services fail and there doesn't seem to be a good notification system in the dashboard or elsewhere that shows me clearly that something is failing.
