One of the best CMS Software Out there
It has been a good experience using Wordpress so far.
Pros
I've been using Wordpress for over 5-6 Years now, and so far Wordpress seems to be my first preference when it comes to creating Websites & Publishing Content Online. Once you have your development done, it is fairly easy to manage & create new content & pages on Wordpress.Plus, there are tons of plugins for things like Landing Page Creation & Form Integrations which make it easier to get your website up & running fast.
Cons
Talking about Sales Funnels in general, wordpress is good. However, compared to software that are specially build for creating Sales Funnels it does lack a bit (as it requires a bit of Development to get started with things).

Wordpress Review From A Person Who Is Not Techie
Yes, here are some common business problems with using WordPress:Security vulnerabilitiesLimited scalabilityCompatibility issues with pluginsMaintenance and upgrade costsPerformance optimizationLimited design customization optionsHigh cost of professional supportInadequate SEO capabilitiesIt's important to weigh the pros and cons of using WordPress for your business and consider if it meets your needs before making a decision.WhereasHere are some benefits of using WordPress for businesses:Easy to use and manageLarge user community and supportLarge selection of plugins and themesSearch engine friendlyMobile responsiveCustomizable with code or through pluginsLow cost compared to other website building optionsRegular updates and improvementsIntegrates with various tools and servicesGood security with regular updates and plugins.
Pros
In summary, WordPress is a free, open-source website-building platform that gives users complete control over their website and its files. It offers a wide range of plugins, themes, and customizations, making it easy to create unique, fast, and SEO-friendly websites. Additionally, many third-party tools have integrations available for WordPress, making it a versatile and convenient platform for website building.
Cons
In summary, being in charge of your WordPress website also means being responsible for its security, backups, and updates. Although these tasks can be automated, they still require attention. A lack of built-in drag-and-drop builder might pose a challenge for some beginners, but there are plugins available to assist with this. Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS can make using WordPress easier, but it's not necessary to learn it to use the platform. Most users can acquire these skills over time as they use WordPress.

Wordpress as a Designer/user
It was neutral to positive experience for me using wordpress. Since I have an engineering and programming background I was able to do quite a bit in a short amount of time. It is a great platform to use for someone who is looking to just have a simple website with basic information and nothing complex. I think it is very intuitive and useful for bloggers.
Pros
I used this software to build a website for a Non-Profit foundation for some fundraising events. I got an account with Bluehost server and wordpress was included in it. For someone who has never built a website before, wordpress did make my life very very easy. It has numerous features that can definitely help a novice like me get a basic website up and running. I enjoyed the following things while using this
- Themes
It comes with some basic theme templates which can be used to build the website. Just fill in some information that relates to your website and it will populate it. Think of it as a powerpoint template with boxes and design
- Easy to upload pictures
I was able to create folders and stores pictures on there and name them accordingly so I can go back and use them on different pages.
- Widgets and Plugins
The main attraction for this software platform I believe is their built in widgets and plugins. You can download from so many options. It is kind of like exploring the app store on your phone. Since it is an open source lot of users create their own widgets and plugins which are either free or you can purchase it. Needless to say purchased ones are much better but I got by with all free ones.
- Edit code
yes if you are a very savvy css html developer and you understand the code, you can go in and change their code and make adjustments.
Warning: Don't mess with it if you don't know what you are doing
Cons
The cons that i noticed in my website after it went live was
- Speed
The website was just slow. I am not sure if it is because of the widgets and plugins running on wordpress but I hated the speed.
- Updates could ruin website
Their themes get constantly updated so if you do not update it properly or if the new build released has a bug on it, it could mess up certain things on your website. This happened to many times where the plugins that worked fine on the older build wouldn't work the same on the new.
- Time consuming for beginners
Yeah it's not as simple as I was expecting it to be. I did spend quite an amount of time understanding the features and how to make best use of them. It was a lot of trial and error so be ready to put in some work at least.

Wordpress
WordPress helps me to maintain a nice & smooth web design experience and enables me to remain responsive as per meeting up with our client's project expectations. It's really a nice CMS and I highly recommend it to every web design aspirant.
Pros
WordPress is the most flexible and easy-to-work-with CMS I've used so far. I tried out other alternatives like Drupal and others, but WordPress makes the entire web-building experience easy. The tool is beginner friendly and supports a lot of third-party plugins which broadens its functionality, making my designs look great. There are many documents (provided by wordpress.org) for beginners who are just getting started and kin of help to minimize the apprenticeship process.I can't emphasize enough the flexibility I have when working on my projects (and clients') with WordPress. As a matter of, it's a tool I can't do without.
Cons
One major problem with WordPress is that there is no live support--the only place to get the support it's the community forum which isn't guaranteed (as support is provided by random users).

Experience and Usability Depends on the Plan Level - and Plans are Expensive
WordPress.COM is great for businesses with the budget for it and for people just testing the waters with a free site. However, you cannot really customize your plan levels and there are only three. Without paying the whole, hefty price, a large amount of features are inaccessible WordPress.com, such as the ability to use plug ins, in-depth site statistics and keyword tracking, SEO assistance, paid ads, and some themes. The better bet in my experience is to host your webpage somewhere that supports WordPress.ORG, as that is their free, open source that is basically the same, you just need to find hosting and integration, which is a lotttt cheaper than the WordPress.COM option and you are legally allowed to do more with your site.
Pros
There's a reason why WordPress is one of, if not the biggest names when anyone is looking to start a website. It has it all there... if you subscribe to their pro business plan. Assuming you're on that plan, you've got access to everything and more that you need to have your webpage be YOUR webpage and do everything you want to do.
Cons
The cost. It's a lot for webhosting and if you don't get the top-tier plan, your access to features, layouts, plug ins, statistics, etc. is extremely limited.

Ease of creating pages and post with custom features no coding required
No coding require to built a website, its really a cool platform to publish posts with drag and drop functionality make it more flexible. Amazing and powerful platform to manage the website dynamically.
Pros
Content management, creating own website by using in-built templates or themes as per niche and make it live is very simple by choosing domain name. User interface is fast and easy to access even integration with third party tools is simple to get deep insights and much more.
Cons
With more apps or plugins it may increase or effect the website loading speed. Moreover, there is always a high risk rate of attacks due to open source platform.

High level website building
I have a blog for many years. Also, when someone asks me about building a website, I always forward them to Wordpress. Everyone likes it.
Pros
When it comes to building inexpensive websites, both economically and temporally, Wordpress is always my choice. Also, the enormous amount of plugins, both free and premium, are extremely useful. So I could say that the best Wordpress has is that it allows third parties to upgrade the experience. And even more, it provides a great set of tools.
Cons
I could not complain about Wordpress even if I used it for so many years. It is always evolving in the good direction and its features are ahead of my needs. I hope they keep it up that way for many years to come.

Great for quick development for your clients
It was a pleasant journey. I've been using/editing/building WordPress websites for the last 3-4 years. I learned a lot and saved tons of time using it. I'd highly recommend it for most of the people as it has a very pleasant UI and it's easy to use even for not tech people - your client.
Pros
The community. It has a wide support for the plugins. You can find almost any plugin you would think of. There are lots of tutorials/questions etc. on the internet too which makes it easy to deal with your problems. There are plenty of cheap option to host your Wordpress instance, which is a big plus. There is also a lot of themes you can use for free, but also lots of high quality paid ones (that are not expensive too).
Cons
Code quolity. Even though there are lots of plugins and themes, usually their code quality is poor. It's hard to add new features to already existing themes or change something. It's easi to write your own custom theme, but it requires way higher budget for the project, which is not a common thing.

WordPress is the best CMS
We have built entire online businesses using WordPress to market products and services, make sales transactions through the website, and continue to support customers online after their purchase.
Pros
WordPress is the most flexible CMS and website development platform isn't he market. There is a reason that around 1/3 of the internet is built on WordPress and that is because it truly is the best CMS available. I can't imagine a better product backed by a better community.

Wordpress for Web devolpment and SEO
Best site to develop e shop online shopping, introducing sites, some technical sites too, ERP invoicing plugins are too available, while it can also be configured with existing ERP with customized pages and access, Image gallery, video caption and form, posts tagging is good for SEO, Beautiful free/paid themes which beautify the look of menus and navigation.
Pros
Easier to install and build a web with a few clicks, adds-on, plugins are awesome which make the website with advanced feature, page management, discussion forum can be configured. Search engine optimization tools are pre built in, and easily integrated with social media plate form like, Facebook, twitter and YouTube etc.. File manager and development with coding is easier by many shortcut and WPs own defined codes/scripts, wide open support is available for development or customization.
Cons
Many bugs are found even in paid plugins, some plugins are vulnerable for website, i.e. no plugin scanned while published it to WP store. Installation configuration directory is not auto removed which can be used to attack, while admin panel access on directory is not random logarithm based, i.e. many times admin panel can be tried.

The Best Web Development Platform
I love WordPress, as previously stated. I have used ONLY WordPress as my building platform for the last 8-9 years. That should be all the proof needed of my high regard for this platform.
Pros
I absolutely love working with WordPress. I just recently stopped developing websites and am pursuing other options. However, the 8-9 years I used WordPress to design and build websites was by far the best choice I could have made. I began back when it was mainly Joomla and Drupal - WordPress was just a new blogging platform. However, it had just started to veer into the CMS area, and I just had a hunch and taught myself WordPress, focusing just on that, and now look at it! It's highly versatile, they keep all the coding updates needed as well as any hot fixes/patches on a consistent basis for security, and it's FREE. I've seen this platform come a VERY long way in just 8 years and I think it will continue to do well.
Cons
Although the updates are necessary, it just seems like they are constantly pushing updates through. It makes it a little harder for website managers to keep up with that, or even customers who can't afford to pay a monthly maintenance fee for a web dev to handle every month. I would think they could try and make slightly fewer updates (unless something major happens of course) and just push more of the updates out in each push - not just little ones all the time.
Reasons for Switching to WordPress
Oddly enough, it was just a hunch after I received a one hour walk through of the back end from a tech rep at HostGator as they used to offer training on WordPress. Once I saw the back end and got a taste of it, I just knew it was the one. I apologize there is nothing specific as it was just a gut feeling for me.- Industry: Events Services

Anyone can build their own website
I'm not new to building websites. I used to use Joomla and phpbb to build sites. I actually got fairly good at it. One day I decided to try Wordpress. I was concerned, as I didn't wish to build a blog. I always considered Wordpress blog software. I soon was very surprised that it goes well beyond blogs. It is one of the easiest to use to build your own website.
Pros
This software is beyond user friendly. With a small amount of research, you can build a professional looking website. This saves a purchaser a large amount of money. paying someone to build your site is very costly, and some non-for-profits simply don't have the capital to do so.
Cons
Unfortunately, Wordpress has always had a spam issue. Every contact form from Wordpress is constantly hit with spam. You can use captcha to offset the spam and use some plugins made to stop the spam, but there are always a few that slip through.
Reasons for Choosing WordPress
I tried Wordpress and found it much easier and less costly to use than Joomla. With Joomla you have to install extensions and plugins, but Wordpress only requires a simple plugin install.Switched From

Veteran WP User
My overall experience with WordPress has been very positive. I use it for many client websites, including my own websites and find that there really isn't anything I haven't been able to do yet because of the flexibility WordPress offers.
Pros
The thing I like most about WordPress is the ease of functionality when it comes to customizing a website for just about any purpose. I've been using and developing with WordPress since 2006 and know it inside and out. As time goes on, the platform becomes more favorable with many additional options for developers and users to create with. The choices for high-end customization are endless. The best part about WordPress is the community based support. Most questions are usually answered when needed from other like-minded developers and users. At the end of the day, I wouldn't think of trying or using any other software for website creation.
Cons
The only thing I like least about WordPress is because there are so many options available and developers are out in droves, there's little quality control in some aspects when it comes to choosing the wrong scripts. It's worthwhile that you do extensive research before developing with certain add-on options, such as themes or plugins. While the majority of options are so limitless, there tends to be a few bad apples along the way and it's just something you learn by trial and error.
Reasons for Switching to WordPress
I chose WordPress over alternatives because of the quality, community support and endless options for developing and designing a website.- Industry: Libraries

Great for fussy UI people and amateurs alike
WordPress is a large part of my business - developing it for clients with businesses. I have also worked on web platforms such as Wix, Squarespace, and Shopify. And the last 2 are pretty good! Once people have those kinds of sites up and running, however, I find them wanting customizations to their sites that are not possible on those platforms. Had they set up their sites using WordPress, it would have. Clearly, I enjoy working on WordPress sites a lot!
Pros
The reason why I turned to WordPress expertise was because basically everyone else started to, too! The benefit of this is that people of all talents are creating all sorts of apps (called plugins) that have great functions and features for it. Same thing for the themes (that's the look of the site). There's nothing that can't be done with WordPress. Basic awesome websites. Amazing multi-functional enterprise-level websites. Even if you're not an expert, and don't have high demands for your website to ... build a rocket ship for you... you can still enjoy using it and getting your business or your artwork out to the people.
Cons
Funny enough, the thing that makes it so great can also be a thorn in the side. Just because your WordPress site can do all these cool things such as connect people from your site to an autoreponder email list, or accept payments via Paypal easily, it does not also mean that removing other keystrokes/steps for other functions is as easy. So website owners who love their WordPress sites and want the sites to be even more efficient, to do more things automatically, often come across this tricky situation where 'customization' is required. And that means testing, time, and money. Sometimes significant amounts. Customization is open ended. The sky is the limit to what your website can do. But just because it offers a whole lot of cool features out of the box doesn't mean that adding to those features is easy. That's something I run into a lot with clients. The other thing is that the high level of free offerings of apps (again, called plugins) means your website will be able to do a bunch of cool things for free. But you have to be somewhat aware of your site on a regular basis to make sure that the plugins remain up to date and don't cause conflicts with other parts of the website. Regular maintenance does not have to be a big deal or cost at all. But if you don't do it, the costs can become huge when you have to clean something up.

ideal platform to design websites quickly
I think that the most significant thing when I am creating a web space for my job or for a client, is the personalization value that can be achieved in the space, I think this is closely significant, as well as every individual that feels unique. and personal, the same applies to websites or blogs, everyone wants to appreciate that their web space is the superior, it is the most effective, it is the most seductive for each soul, their web space is the main and form that each web space elaborated by my excellent is something that I value very much and thanks to Wordprress and I achieved this impartial in my work. WordPress has given me an Optimum web page organizer of programs that I have considered and deliberated in all building needs, for all the tastes and uses they need. It is compliant with all web projects. For this purpose it has a diversity of free themes. It has the same functions in mobile computers and tablets. WordPress allows the web plan thanks to the improvements and improvements to be deployed. It is just a work consultation. Forget about the classification and create. You can create a lot with WordPress
Pros
WordPress has proven to be the main one for a while. I love the malleability that comes with building a web space with WordPress. WordPress allows me to create a web space without having any sorting skills. WordPress comes with many effects add-ons that help add additional features to the web space I build. Forced to how flexible it is, I can build a primary web space for the client in 24 hours. Among the most interesting details of WordPress is the nature of the add-ons with which it can be completed. For example, our payment method is implemented in our web space thanks to an API provided by the financial company to integrate into WordPress. Similarly, our delivery of product shipments is an increase from our consultant to obtain data from the offices where products can be withdrawn.
Cons
WordPress represents an instrument of positive profit in all its senses and in person has not presented any conflict that manages to affect me, however, it is kind to know that to rejoice in many more components of this platform you must pay an amount of agreement The observations of the Company that will use it can be high. But it is good to emphasize that, despite the cost, it is an alteration that is worth doing, since it meets all the features that it promises. Wordpress is fascinating and manages to achieve the surveillance of any beneficiary, by itself it has been a great help and has not had any inconvenience when using it. However, consider that renew a little more with the tools they offer us, that is, provide multiple ugible and green tools to develop our web pages

The Easiest Way to Go Online While Having Access to All Necessary Features
I have used Wordpress quite a few times, both for my personal use and for helping others set up their website. I have found this software to be exactly what I needed, especially when the end user isn't sure about the final approach they want to take in order to display their pages. For this particular reason, the sandboxing features of Wordpress work wonderfully well to show in real-time to the owner of the website how one change in the dashboard will affect the website. It has saved me from many headaches: instead of having to try to fix an obscure bug in an unknown platform, having access to the well-designed and unified interface of Wordpress makes a big difference when maintaining a website. I haven't had to troubleshoot a problem too often, rightly because it just works. And even when the owner make changes, it is usually painless to revert the changes back to a working version thanks to the handy revision history.
Pros
Wordpress has become so easy to use that it is the platform that I recommend by default to any friend or customer who wants a robust solution while having the freedom to interact with the software. It doesn't require technical abilities very distinct from those necessary to work with a text processor. Setting up a website is a matter of a few minutes as almost everything is automated: there are even many web hosting services that integrate Wordpress and it is as simple as ticking a checkbox to get started in those cases. The administration area or dashboard provides an impressive amount of accessible features, such as the ability to switch themes on the fly, activate, remove or update plugins while displaying the level of compatibility with the current version of Wordpress or modifying many settings for the website. I also like how everything is nicely split into categories: one for posts, one for managing media, one for comments, etc. This makes it effortless to find exactly what one is looking for and there are many plugins available to enhance any aspect of the workflow. Plus, someone who knows this software well can easily modify any moving part as he/she wishes, making for an experience that's apt for any type of user.
Cons
In my opinion, the most complicated facet of managing a Wordpress website is to do with updates. It is practically inevitable that one update will eventually break some functionality in the website which brings confusion, especially to the novice. I should point out that there are plugins available to mitigate those situations (allowing to rollback to previous versions of themes and other plugins), but one has to be careful before blindly applying available updates. One drawback that's to do with the plugin library is the fact that it may be hard to find the appropriate plugin for some specific purposes and the desired features are sometimes available only to paid users, which is totally fine by me, but disappointing for those expecting everything to work out of the box. This drawback aside, the plugin library is really extensive and there are many high-quality plugins to choose from, reducing even further the technical knowledge that the administrator needs in order to make things work without too much hassle.

I love WordPress for writing, design and for empowering me to build decent user experiences
Pros
I've been working with WordPress for about 6 years now. I've improved my skills quite a bit on the platform, and I know when to get a professional designer or developer on a project when I am out of my depth. whether it's adding content to a website that someone else designed, or even writing simple blogs on my minimalist website, WordPress just makes life easier. Great extensibility with free and premium plug-ins and there are great SEO/traffic reporting tools and complementary apps to upgrade my website.
I've been using a Genesis theme for a number of years, and it's been great. There are many premium apps to make it easy to have a decent looking, mobile responsive, SEO optimized website on WordPress. Lots of hosting options, and lots of talent available to customize to your heart's content.
Cons
I've had some issues with conflicting plugins a few times which blocked me from uploading images, or disabled parts of websites I've worked with. It's quite affordable to hire a WordPress PHP developer to fix things, customize CSS or do other development. It's worth getting an expert to strut their technical stuff from time to time. I know developers and designers that are great at what they do, and they earn their fees. I've tinkered with theme files a few times and caused messes which required restoring a backup. There's a lot of WordPress support info out there in their vast open community, and you have to be cautious about what you put into action. Keeping up to the latest version of WordPress and plugins is well worth automating or outsourcing. I've had customizations break with upgrades which can be a pain.

The platform to host your website
I started my WordPress-powered personal blog in 2009 and since then I have managed numerous WordPress-powered websites and blogs for research projects, small companies, Conference & event websites etc. I have been responsible for setting up the functionalities and content and everything is running smoothly, especially with the support of IT teams, when needed.
Collaboration with other users in WordPress is easy, as I could assign different roles to them and since they were familiar with MS Word, they could properly format their texts with the Rich Text Editor of WordPress.
What's important is that integration of multimedia files in posts was always easy with WordPress, something really important if you want to make your posts visually appealing. With new functionalities coming with each new version, things are always much easier and faster.
Pros
I have been using WordPress since about 2009, when I started my first personal blog on Wordpress.com - and it is still up and running. I love WordPress because it is probably the most user-friendly platform to start blogging or a website. There are lots of options - both free and paid - in terms of functionalities and appearance and you can easily build your own ones if you are an expert.
A great advantage is the huge user community out there, always willing to help; when I have a question, the answer is usually already out there.
Cons
As expected, the Wordpress.com-hosted websites and blogs have limitations in functionality (i.e. the installation of plugins and add-ons), but there is always the option to self-host your site so you can have full access to the wealth of features.

Versatile to the MAX
I've been with WP since the very beginning! A few self-hosted sites but mostly just the .com version. So I remember a few features or procedures that they've phased out. Not happy about losing those. Overall, it's a very solid site with better-than-anything customer care. Lots of possibilities and lots of support. If you aren't too finicky about the specifics of an idea and want something that "just works," WP is great. If you have a specific idea or feature in mind--for example, I got obsessed with the "adding unlimited blogs" feature in another website-builder--then yes there are work-arounds, but NO they won't be exactly the same as the one you're (ok, I'M!) obsessed with.
Pros
Whether you get 1) the "regular" wordpress, aka wordpress.com, aka the one that's not too different from the other website solutions out there, or 2) wordpress .org, aka the "self-hosted" and "you'd better know what you're doing, or have someone on your team who does" version, WORDPRESS is AWESOME. The possibilities are limitless, almost--as long as you or SOMEONE in your reach does, in fact, know what s/he's doing. So I like that bit. I also like the fact that there are so many out-of-the-gate options (themes, features, add-ins) at the ready. The free plan is very generous, and the pricier options give you, erm, lots of options.
Cons
Despite all the possibilities of theme and feature that I just crowed about, even wordpress.com (the not-self-hosted option) can be daunting to a beginning builder-of-a-website. For example, many of the themes by WP and by third parties look GREAT in the theme-chooser-thing, but have little-to-no documentation ("readily" available) for things that might seem standard or obvious to many, ie recommended banner dimensions for a theme. What I mean by this is that making MY page identical to the one shown in the theme-chooser (ie making mine a carbon copy of the example EXCEPT that it's my info and/or graphics, ie "trying to make mine look as good as the one in the store window") is really, REALLY difficult. There's a TON to figure out, and the themes offering the keys to their "secret sauce" are very few and far-between. This might seem trivial to some, but I'm a theme-addict. I've literally created businesses because I was in love with a business card idea, or an ad concept, or... a website theme. And while I've been able to make things work, it took way longer than I would have wanted it to. (That said, I'm a photographer, and one pixel off of my expectation is a soul-crushing experience, aka "most people aren't this persnickety about appearance."

Ranging from DIY to fully customized, anybody can create amazing websites using WordPress
I have been using WordPress exclusively for over 5 years. I have built hundreds of sites in this time for clients using the WordPress platform, and I won't even touch a redesign or rebuild website project unless the client agrees to move their site over to WordPress.
This might limit me in some ways, I am sure. However, as far as being able to create websites that work for my customers, don't require a degree in computer science, and won't break the bank, WordPress is the way to go.
Pros
I love the versatility of WordPress the most. It is ever expanding and not only keeping up with all things current on the web when it comes to design and development, but setting the standards, in my opinion, of how a web design or development platform should be.
Do you need a simple blog and a contact page for your personal needs or even small business or hobby? WordPress can do that, no problem.
Do you need to create a more robust website with functionality that would enable you to take payments from customers in a data safe & secure environment? WordPress can do that, no problem!
Or, maybe you want to create your own website template or theme reselling business and sell your creations to others who also wish to use WordPress as their web building platform? Yes, WordPress can do that too! What's so great about the versatility of this platform, is that you can even build the e-commerce site to do this, on WordPress.
Cons
I'd have to say that even though there are hundreds and thousands of WordPress plugins and themes to choose from online, many of which are free, the availability of so many different options when it comes to how you develop your WordPress site, is quite frustrating at times. Actually, it's the least favorite part about WordPress for me.
It's not specifically that the learning curve is incredibly steep, it's that there are so many plugin and theme options to learn about, as well as learn (often by trial and lots of error if you are DIY) how these all interact with each other, that can lead to many a frustrating experience.
