Quick but sometimes confusing
Pros
Its an easy way to get reimbursed. I know that once I submit a charge, it will seamlessly be taken care of on the back end
Cons
Sometimes the expense report vs individual charges gets confusing. I'll create a charge but cannot figure out how to put it in an expense report to submit it or how to submit it without using a whole report (I don't have many expenses so I am often only submitting one charge)
Response from U.S. Bank
Thanks for the review Niara!
You can submit expenses directly from the main "Expenses" screen by tapping "Submit" in the top-right on mobile, or clicking the 3-dot menu in the top-right on desktop; this will directly generate a report named "General Expenses" and submit it to your manager, and works great if you just have a few expenses each month.
To assign expenses to a report, all you have to do is create a new report first from the "Reports" section of the menu. You can then create expenses directly from the new report you've just created. Also, each time you create a new expense from the main "Expenses" screen you can choose to assign it to any open Report.
Hope that helps and let us know any time you have further questions or feedback!

Educators who travel
I really enjoy most attributes of the system. It’s probably the best travel/procurement option that I’ve experienced in my 24 years.
Pros
I really enjoyed the functionality for booking your flights, consistent notifications of changes to travel plans, and the support provided by our side official.
Cons
The approval for Perdiem, and other cost, could be complicated within our system. There is a variance of Waze you can select which category to meet your needs. That can become confusing for someone just utilizing the system. Also, on the home screen, when selecting which category to utilize, Please make the reimbursement items horizontal rather than vertical. This way, you won’t miss scrolling down for your additional options.

Great all in one tool for expense and travel management
Pros
Travelbank has helped us signficantly to streamline our T&E platform and travel platform all in one. It makes searching for flights and modifying flights also super easy. The customer service support is always available and quick to respond for assistance if any modifications are required.
Cons
Nothing in particular but I do wish that the reporting features could be more robust.

Why TravelBank sucks
Pros
The chat feature is okay. Representatives will respond fairly quickly.
Cons
When booking my flight to Bahrain, the following happened:
1. They only booked 4 of the 6 legs I requested, leaving my final destination as Kuwait City rather than Bahrain
2. They didn't add my frequent flyer number to the reservation as I had requested
3. My preferred airlines disappeared from the list the day I went to make my reservation. After waiting several hours, one of the airlines returned literally minutes before I was heading out of the office on a vacation.
4. My selected itinerary was originally in budget, but after entering my details and clicking the confirm button, the price magically jumped $200 and required my manager to approve.
5. Seat selection was not available on all legs, and the ones I selected were ignored when the system made my reservation.
Response from U.S. Bank

TravelBank Exceeds Expectations
Exceeded my expectation. Change is never easy for a business, but this was well worth the weight in the amount of time and energy has improved greatly.
Pros
The ease of implementation and the month end process made my job so much simpler with hours shaved off my month end reconciliation process.
Cons
The order of the transactions are opposite of the transactions on the bankcard statement. It would be great to see those transactions fall in order from oldest to newest versus newest to oldest.

Expense Report Generator
I emailed a question and had a response within a few hours.
Pros
First, The ability to quickly take a photo of the receipt and later fill in the details when I have time. Second the ability to sync my credit card to the software, and third, I don't travel often but I do like the ability to be able to do all purchase and planning via this software.
Cons
I've been using the software for a week and only added a few entries, so far I've had a seamless experience, As of now I haven't found any cons
Response from U.S. Bank

Overall, TravelBank is relatively intuitive and easy to use. It allows users to assign expenses to appropriate accounts and upload digital receipts to reduce paperwork.
Pros
Quick and easy integration to QuickBooks Online. It allows credit card holders to allocate expenses to appropriate accounts.
Cons
Each QB account has to be manually added. It would be great if they could all be setup in bulk.

Travel Made Easier at Clearlink
As a large company, with locations in different states, and managers traveling to meet with clients, Clearlink was looking for a way to reduce travel spend, but overall have a seamless and streamlined user experience for booking travel.
After demoing multiple platforms, Clearlink found TravelBank to be the ideal fit for our growing organization. Not only did TravelBank work heavily with us to refine our existing travel policy, their team is readily available for any questions that arise.
Pros
The TravelBank platform is extremely user friendly and intuitive. Their goal is to have you book a flight from start to finish in under a few minutes, and the process is simple and streamlined to take the headache out of booking travel. Aesthetically, the software is clean, well organized and visually pleasing. Adding users is simple with mass uploads, and deactivating employees is just as easy.
Cons
While not necessarily a con, TravelBank is continuing to develop new enhancements to their system, which means continued changes for our employees. That said, they’re positive changes! There are many items on the roadmap for this year, like rental cars, and as a company that has a high annual travel spend, we can already see we will rely heavily on the upcoming features. As a newer travel platform in an industry that hasn’t seen much change or innovation to travel, we’re excited to see the enhancements that are being made by TravelBank.
As we continue to grow in headcount, the reporting capabilities could be increased to support our needs and provide deeper visibility into employee travel. Being able to integrate with an HRIS to remove the manual process of adding/deactivating users would be a nice addition.

Working with an expense tracker.
The best thing about using TravelBank is the personal interaction with Customer service. They are always available, courteous, and quick to help resolve any issue I may have.
Pros
The program is easy to learn and use. It's logical and does not contain extraneous information.
Cons
I would like to see an easier interface to track my own expenses. Also a Log-out button on all pages.

Certified Medical Assistant
Great at tracking all expenses and reports needed to make sure everything was done correctly before allowing it to submit. It's almost mistake proof for entry which benefits the employees getting correct information, so they get reimbursed quickly.
Pros
Guides you through everything very easily for submitting . Everything you need is easily accessed and one page
Cons
I thought it was easy access and very user friendly. Don't know really what I would change.? Maybe in the comments for reason for reimbursement have a few selections to choose from instead of typing them in to make it less time for explanation.

I enter my personal mileage once every other week or longer.
Pros
Its easy to use and understand. I like that it lets you know right away if I put something in wrong.
Cons
Nothing, it is easy to use. The only thing I dont like is actually needing to use it. I enter my personal mileage but our work mileage is entered into Epic so this seems pointless to enter the personal mileage.

From a former DTS user.
Overall my review is based as a user. My company dictates use and I'm happy for it. The system seems to be solid as it allows my company to make fast, accurate decisions thus leading to quick reimbursements.
Pros
Most impactful is the ease to navigate and enter information. Timely and accurate entries lead to solid decision making and thus, fast reimbursements. This is a terrific system to use and so much better than others I have used in the past.
Cons
I can't think of one to enter here so will try to leave blank.

Pros
Coming from Concur, TravelBank's mobile app saves me and my team hours per month in expense reports due to easy of use and intuitiveness.

I use for the points but not thrilled otherwise
Overall, it's nice to have employee profiles saved for repeat bookings, and I'll do it for the CC points, but I can't say I find anything else impressive.
Pros
I use TravelBank because we get Brex rewards for booking using their software.
Cons
I find it really frustrating to search for flights because you have to restart the whole process if you want to look at a different departure date or airline etc; and often times I try to book for other employees and if I don't have their information preloaded the fare will not be eligible by the time I press "book" and I have to restart the whole thing again. I also hate not being able to use TravelBank agents for most modifications, I might as well book directly with the airline.
