Yodeck is the best signage company out there.
I am extremely satisfied. I just want to get more players so that I can display more content in different areas. I have never used a better signage platform like Yodeck and will always recommend them to every business.
Pros
It is easy to set up and works smoothly without any problems.
They also have a lot of "how to" info and videos. And if you are still struggling, their customer service is one of the fastest and best I have seen. It integrates with many apps and programs, so endless possibilities exist.
I use Yodeck daily in my restaurants and can't see my business operating without them.
Cons
There is nothing to dislike. They are improving the experience every day and making it better for everyone to use.

Yodeck is a great value
Yodeck is a great value - not only the software but the Raspberry Pi players.
Pros
It's simple and versatile to upload and play various forms of content.
Cons
Some of the more advanced content sources such as SharePoint and Teams do not always work reliably or as expected.

Community Engagement
I have enjoyed using the software but it was annoying to only be able to pay in dollars and then to find out the huge cost of delivery for the 'FREE!' player and the looming threat of import taxes because it couldn't be supplied from a UK warehouse at the end of the order process felt like a 'con' .
Pros
It is very easy to set up a basic advertising and information screen
Cons
The interface is very clunky and it would be better to be able to have a link to 'cloud' based content rather than having to upload images one by one.

Exceptional Digital Signage Solution
Yodeck has been an excellent tool for managing our digital signage needs. The platform is intuitive and feature-rich, making it easy to create and schedule content across multiple locations. The support team is responsive and helpful, addressing any issues promptly. Overall, Yodeck has significantly improved our ability to communicate and engage with our audience through dynamic digital displays.
Pros
Yodeck provides an intuitive and user-friendly interface that simplifies the process of managing digital signage. The ease of use is remarkable, allowing even those with minimal technical knowledge to set up and operate the system efficiently. Additionally, the robust feature set, including remote management and a wide array of templates, enhances the versatility and effectiveness of our digital displays. The customer support is also outstanding, with prompt and knowledgeable responses that ensure any issues are resolved quickly.
Cons
While Yodeck is a powerful tool, there are occasional glitches in the software that can disrupt the display schedules. These instances are rare but can be inconvenient when they occur. Additionally, the initial setup process, while generally straightforward, can sometimes be challenging due to limited documentation on more advanced features. Improvements in these areas would further elevate the overall user experience.

Yodeck is web-accessible from any device. Very easy to set up an deploy!

It took a bit to integrate static content, daily schedules, and hourly interruptions, but once you understand the flow, Yodeck is pretty easy!

Choose Yodeck. You won't be disappointed.
There are SO MANY options for players and programs and it was hard to just choose at first. I'm glad I chose Yodeck
Pros
It truly is very easy to learn. I've worked with a few different programs and players and Yodeck was the easiest to learn.
Cons
There are a limited number of templates in the layouts section, which isn't a huge drawback, but it is what I like least about Yodeck.

Yodeck: One Screen, Big Difference for School District
Yodeck has been an immediate asset to our front office in the school district where I work. For the longest time, we had to set up a static PowerPoint presentation that looked drab and didn't pull in anything current. Overall, people overlooked it. Now, I have Yodeck running on our lobby screen, and people are stopping and staring. Those who are waiting for meetings, interviews, etc., are getting to see our school district in action with up-to-date social media posts, images, and so much more. It adds to the overall brand presence, and I think it makes a difference in how people feel when they first walk in. We are big fans of Yodeck here!
Pros
The ease of including social media timelines and the templates.
Cons
The only issue I had was connecting Yodeck with Canva - but I would not hold that against the company, it is more than likely user error.

Yodeck is Yotally Awesome!
Love it, the fact that I can so PowerBI screens on our internal displays is gold! Its quick and light. I used to use a competitor system and they discontinued the display device we paid $800 for, then provided a new device for $1000 and it was downgraded to only play 1080P unless we wanted to pay $$$ per month for 4k.
Pros
I love the GUI that makes everything so easy to use and update. The site is responsive and the controls are logical. Once you understand the apps/media/playlist connection, you're off to the races.
Cons
connecting to some of the 3rd party apps, but I dont think its Yodeck's fault I believe its our corporate sercurity.

Many Ways to Use, Easy to Learn, Simple Process
We use Yodeck for our Welcome TV in our headquarters reception area. I take our social media posts, resize them for this use, and and schedule them or upload them in real time via Yodeck and I live several states away. It was really easy to learn and gives you plenty of ways to use it while keeping the process simple.
Pros
It is really easy to use. When you upload media into one area, it's accessible in the other areas as well. You can set things up ahead of time for different days and add start and end times. There's also a preview function so you can see how the playlist will look on a loop.
Cons
Some of the functions are a little clunky / less intuitive but it's really minor stuff, like if you have to click on the name or check the box next to it to select the item. But you get used to is with repeated use.

Perfect solution for easy to manage signage
Pros
Coming from a Windows-based setup with Powerpoint-slides that never autoplayed the way they were supposed to and retired a lot of hands on, Yodeck was a real blessing for our lobby. Running on Raspberry PI was no issues, and the whole setup was done in less than 30 minutes. We can quickly edit our signage, set up layouts that work with our corporate branding, and also use widgets to display news and weather to our visitors. Compared to other systems, I must say that this is a very potent solution that fit our small business perfectly. Scaling it up would be no issue since the management interface is very sleek.
Cons
There is a slight learning curve to the layout designing which might scare a casual user. However, in cases where we felt that we couldn't produce what we required in Yodeck we simply create the slide in Photoshop and upload that and push it to our players, which works very well.

Roedean School: Yodeck Review
Mine and the schools overall experience of Yodeck is extremely positive. I can create really stunning digital signages, for multiple screens, and then be versatile and put livestreams on them for special events. The school is extremely happy with the implementation of them and have been a welcome addition to the school.
Pros
Yodeck for me is a system that I have now implemented into 2 schools that I have worked at as part of the IT Team. It has always been reliable for a team to manage, and the flexibility that Yodeck provides, personally, makes it come out above its competitors.
The reason I continue to use Yodeck and would recommend it is that it is continually supporting new features, listening to customer feedback, and has excellent customer service. The amount of times I have emailed the support team asking for them to provide a very specific bit of code to create a custom website widget, and they always provide exactly what I need.
The UI is also perfect for both IT Pro's, admin staff and Marketing teams. This helps me personally shift the responsibility to them, and being on hand to support the hardware or software, or occasionally ask my opinion on designs and content.
Cons
Yodeck is a powerful system for its price, so it's harsh to pick faults. But from our personal experience in a school, there are a few things I would love to have implemented.
We are a Microsoft school, so we would love to see built-in SSO for Microsoft 365, like it has with Google. Similarly, more Microsoft Apps would be welcome to the app selection.
Additionally, when pushing new content, it would be amazing if it could preload in the background, and then slowly fade to the new content when it is ready, instead of the stuttery and harsh transition as each content piece loads. I know this is partly limited by hardware, but the option to have this would be great.
It would also be amazing if you could have 'views' and deep permission levels so you can restrict individual folders. I would also, from a UI point, like to see Apps / Media merged into one as they use share the same folders anyway.
Reasons for Switching to Yodeck
The software, permissions, ease of use, cost, experience, all amalgamate it to be the sensible option. Personally, my experience with the system can be used as an advantage in support, training and time to set up. The UI receives frequent updates, that they document on their blog. Meaning that bugs are fixed and user voice is heard. The competitor’s software that was highlighted previously offer good solutions, but their difficulty to use the interface and the time required to use was their downfall. Some of the features that they had were better than Yodeck, but they were let down by missing key features that Yodeck did have, such as easy customisable layout and being less educationally orientated.- Industry: Chemicals

FANTASTIC for our digital signage at the Y!
We switched to Yodeck from Screenly as we were no longer satisfied with the service they provided for the cost they charged. Upon finding Yodeck and discovering that having one monitor on the service is completely free to use, we signed right up. Since then the service has been phenomenal. There have been no outages/problems with the service that I can recall, and everything was so easy to learn and manipulate. Customer support (from the few times I've contacted them with questions) are incredible and very responsive as well. We are currently using Yodeck for free but if we ever expand to multiple monitors I wouldn't have a problem upgrading to a paid plan. It's definitely worth it!
Pros
Yodeck is incredibly easy to use, manipulate, and understand while supporting more file types and media types than any other digital signage service I've seen. We are currently only using one monitor so use the service for free but would have no problem purchasing the plans to support more monitors. The value of the service is worth it. Playlists are super easy to create and manage, and the types of media you can display are numerous. Definitely very satisfied with Yodeck as a service!
Cons
There is nothing that I actively dislike about Yodeck, however I do wish there was a way to put an mp3 in a regular playlist to have backing music. Maybe there is a way to do this that I haven't found yet, but I haven't been able to stick an mp3 in a regular playlist yet.

Public Library Loves Yodeck
Our experience was mostly positive with some growing pains, but mostly on the layout and design decisions. Once the screens were launched the positive benefit for and feedback from our patrons was overwhelmingly positive. The daily use of the tool becomes intuitive - it just works.
Pros
The ease of use off the shelf was very appealing, as well as the low-cost compared to competitors. Once we started building campaigns customer support was responsive and informative. We also particularly like that Yodeck is supported on RaspberryPi devices making our rollout simple and affordable.
Cons
There is a learning curve to Yodeck and it needs to be initially handled by a lead comfortable learning and navigating the tool. It's likely that when knowledge transfer happens to other personnel that some training and knowledge transfer will be necessary at the entity level to ensure the quality and integrity of the projects remain consistent.
Reasons for Switching to Yodeck
We found that Yodeck had the best and easiest-to-use toolbox for our use cases. It was the easiest to learn for people of all comfort levels and it's supported on RaspberryPi devices, making implementation cost-effective. The Best Value In Digital Signage
The deployment has been easy. The hardware is cheap. We've had much higher user adoption, and I've enjoyed administering it. It's been easy to experiment and make changes. My team has truly loved using YoDeck
Pros
It is incredibly user friendly for both admins and customers. It's cheap and easy to deploy, it's easy to manage...it's amazing!
Cons
There are limited features compared to more full-fledged platforms, such as wayfinding. But we do not utilize that.

Great Solution for Sharing Content in Real Time and Managed Remotely!
After setting up, I am confident that my display is working, secure, monitored daily by Yodeck and allows me to remotely change when needed.
Pros
After figuring set up, it was smooth sailing to get my digital display showcasing my playlist filled with content to attract people to our store. Now I can manage the content remotely and check in whenever the activity of each monitor I have attached a Yodeck player to. Their plans are affordable and dashboard easy to use. I can conveniently change content online whenever needed and ensure the content is displayed properly without needing to physically be in front of the screen. The demo was quick and easy. The customer support is great. The monitor has been active every day and their system even alerts me for any inconsistencies when a monitor is offline more than usual, which was awesome.
Cons
It was a bit tricky to figure out setting up the Yodeck player onto a monitor, but I now understand how it works with information from their knowledge base to use the correct settings. It's unfortunate they will be increasing their pricing soon, but that inevitable due to inflation. Overall, there is not much to dislike as it is straight forward once you complete the set up properly. Nothing has malfunctioned so far and I hope this can be a long term solution. I wish they priced in Canadian so Canadian customers can pay in their currency.

You won't find one cheaper and as easy to use.
Easy to set up, easy to use, easy to manage, easy to do business with. This tool is what every digital signage solutions should look up to.
Pros
When I started shopping for our digital signage solution, I was looking for something powerfull, cheap and easy to use. When I realised that Yodeck was free, packed with all its features, for a single device, it was easy for me to test it, and the more I did, the more I realised that this tool was da bomb.
Cons
There are a lot of features in Yodeck, but the one I was missing was OneDrive for business integration.... and guess what, I've just learned that it's now a thing and I can't wait to give it a try. So, apart from that, the only con is maybe, not enough flexibility with the birthday app, but then again, I was surprised they even had one!
Reasons for Choosing Yodeck
Their interface, although powerfull, is a mess. It was buggy, hard to use, and I was the only one tech savy enough the manage it at my old job. I'm pretty sure they've switched since I left.Switched From

Easiest Signage Ever
Implemented and used it for a couple years at my previous job (20 or so players). I am just now deploying it at my school district, so far we have 20 players, but that will grow fairly quickly.
Pros
Super easy to deploy. Super easy to sit someone who has never touched digital signage in front of the dashboard and start having them upload content on their screens. The documentation is very thorough, and the Youtube videos are very valuable.
Cons
Every once in a while I get a player out of the box that gets messed up during the initializing process and have to re-image the microsd card. Everything works fine after that. Very minor annoyance.

We've only been with Yodeck for a few months but overall they have been great! They offer everything that we wanted plus more. Although their customer service is in a different time zone then us, they have still been able to help us when needed.
Pros

Digital signeage made easy
With Yodeck we can not only entertain and inform our customers in the waiting areas, but also have the opportunity to provide this service for our customers.
Thanks to the highly scalable structure of the system, not only can small individual solutions be created, but customers with multiple locations and company departments can also be wonderfully supplied.
We are currently working on connecting the shops of several petrol stations to our system built with Yodeck. The test operations for this are already running extremely promisingly.
Pros
The fact that each individual display can be provided with individual content or combined into groups and locations ensures that a wide range of solutions can be implemented.
The schedules and playlists are a particularly powerful tool for delivering the right content to the right place at the right time.
With yodeck this is solved much more efficiently than we know from other systems.
User roles and work areas make it possible for technically less experienced people to provide content for the displays without jeopardizing the security and functionality of the entire system.
Anyone who knows other solutions knows that this cannot be taken for granted.
We are happy to now not only be able to use the various possibilities ourselves, but also to have found an extremely interesting new product for our customers.
Cons
In the beginning, some processes were much more complex, not clearly explained, poorly labeled or misleadingly translated. In addition, some functions that were important to us were missing.
However, since the software is continuously being improved, these problems could gradually be resolved, so that Yodeck has now become a powerful tool at a fair price that flexibly adapts to the needs of the users.
For digital menu boards, we would like to be able to show and hide content in an animated manner and to move it across the screen with keyframes, a timeline or such.

Efficient and User-Friendly Digital Signage Management with Yodeck
My overall experience with Yodeck has been highly positive. It has streamlined my digital signage management process, allowing me to create and update captivating content effortlessly. The platform's user-friendly interface, cloud-based functionality, extensive media support, and convenient scheduling capabilities have made it a valuable tool for my signage needs.
Pros
Yodeck offers a user-friendly interface that makes it easy to create and manage digital signage content. Even without prior experience, I found it simple to navigate and set up my displays.
Cons
Although Yodeck provides a solid set of design tools, some advanced design features, such as intricate animations or complex transitions, could enhance the creative possibilities for content creation.
