For web reservations, you can use it on a phone or tablet which for obvious reasons does not include all functions but enables new reservations as well as a live dashboard. in addition there are numerous apps for check-ins housekeeping, guest focussed etc. if there is anything specific you would like please let us know.

Everything you need and More... and then some!
Pros
It covers all aspects of what is required in the hospitality industry. From the restaurant all the way to wedding facilities and online booking platform.
Cons
The software altough works great and does everything it should, looks a bit dated.

A fragmented system lacking user-friendly application
Frustrating at best. I have to add that we had a junior technician who constantly impressed us with her service and willingness to help us. She was a breath of fresh air and I felt that she was a gem. The system truly disappointed compared to her desire to resolve issues.
Pros
Analytics and reporting were good, although one needs proper training to make sense of the various reports.
Cons
Fragmented nature of each of the functions within the system. It never felt comfortable to use the features as they didn't seamlessly talk to each other. Training was not beneficial and on-the-job training a hard task to accomplish. We employed 365Villas and couldn't believe how fast and user-friendly it is. We were operational with 2 weeks, whereas we took 3 months to go-live with Semper.

Great Booking System
Pros
The accounting section is very helpful, the basic understanding of booking your rooms and sales split is very handy and easy
Cons
Export reports not really for debtors use, have to use another method to get accurate report totals

Semper is the best!
The customer support from Semper is fabulous and they now have specialist support members who are very knowledgeable about the product.
Pros
Semper Online is one of the easiest software packages that I have ever used and it has been extremely easy to convert from a server based system to this online one. It is extremely user-friendly and training new staff is now much easier.
Cons
There is nothing negative about Semper although it can be tricky when the internet is down - but that's not their fault!

Semper Hospitality Software
The software is stable. Integrates well with other programs, - accounting and other booking systems. The maintenance and development is excellent on the program. The staff are friendly and willing to help and assist all the time.
Pros
The product stood out from others as it was easy to use. It incorporated tour groups and individuals that other programs could not do. A huge amount of data can be recouped through the record systems and easy to find them. Was easy to set the system up to our needs.
Cons
There is nothing that I do not like or find irritating.

Semper feedback
All our problems have been solved. [sensitive content hidden] is always a great help and always has solutions even if it takes her a few days she always gets it done.
Pros
setting up all our own rates, can see all the bookings. We can call at anytime, and someone will answer. I always just work with [sensitive content hidden]. But I prefer to work with [sensitive content hidden] as she is always so friendly and willing to help. She definitely knows what she is doing and I always feel comfortable with her. She always has solutions and helps us very well.
Cons
That the system has glitches like if I transfer stuff on the system it does not add up or subtract the items. If items are read it sometimes the system does not add it to stock on hand.I dislike it how you put people in management positions that can not do the job. Like [sensitive content hidden]. They do not know the system and always does something else than we are asking. I get very frustrated with them because they do not listen to what we want. If I call and it is 1 of them that is answering I will rather wait to speak to someone else even if it takes a day. Even on standby, you need to be profesional and [sensitive content hidden] can not be profesional.

Pros
Customer support from the Semper team has been exceptional. Whenever I have had questions or needed assistance, their knowledgeable and friendly support staff have been prompt in their responses, ensuring that my concerns are addressed promptly.

The ideal software for my business
Pre Semper we had a number of lost bookings as well as a serious problem with double bookings. With Semper being linked directly to our multi channel manager ( MyAllocator ), this problem has totally disappeared.
The proiduct comes with 100's of reports so i can pull any stats i need for pipeline management, house maintenance etc. its all there.
Pros
its simple to use and very reliable. I run it locally as we are very rural and the internet is not always reliable. despite running locally, Semper also allows me remote access via a web browser interface so i am able to manage bookings from anywhere.
Cons
Nothing really. its not the fanciest software on the market, but it does everything i want at a very reasonable price.

Semper is a great tool for hospitality
I believe that this is a great tool to reach multiple markets at once and there is still a lot to build on.
Pros
Easy and quick to use. Makes streamlining all information easy.
Always exceptional support from [SENSITIVE CONTENT]. If not for him life would have been a lot more difficult
Cons
1. I wish there was Whatsapp integration built in. This would make it so much easier to communicate directly with guests from the system. Similiar to what automated sms and emails are set up.
2. Looking to integrate Xero Accounting software but found out today that there is an expensive monthly cost to doing this.

Good but still improving
Good, but do feel we were promised features during sales meetings that either do not exist, does not work as advertised or and most importantly, is still in development and development is taking slower than we were told it would.
Pros
Fairly easy to use on a day to day basis for operations
Cons
Still needs some development on the back end with regards to rate management and visibility of rates when not in use, example: you cannot set rates to turn on and off as specific dates in the year and if rate is not available it is still visible and bookable on the system, but at a zero rate.

It was too expensive, and had to pay for every feature. Also offered less integration to local OTA sites. Lastly it was server based and not Web-based so not great for remote use.Reasons for Switching to Semper

Stock Control is accurate and profit margins are nice to see
Cons
Currenlty there is ONE colour coded for both the Guest that has (i) made partial payment; AS WELL as the Guest that has Paid in FULL. It would be nice to have the Calendar View to highlight in DIFFERENT COLOURS the two types of Guests, those who have PAID IN FULL; and those who have made Payment, but still have OUTSTANDING account prior to their arrival and check in. Because of this issue, one now has to actually click on the booking to open the reservation in order to see if there person is Paid in FULL ; or only partially paid.

Effective Guest Experience
Semper Reservations and Semper conferencing are the core software that runs our Hotel. We very reliant on it as it is user friendly, effective and affordable
Pros
The product itself is user friendly, we are able to add features to suite our needs. Payment via the online portal quick and the software updates itself automatically saving us time spent checking through our service providers (Bank). You are able to intergrate with any product with easy. For example as a hotel we intergrated with Pilot and Gaap POS systems in order to track payment and ensuring all transactions are in par with the existing features.
Cons
Some time but not often, it does not generate the information needed for example generating occupancy rate , proper employee cash ups. However semper support is effective when the need arises to attend to these matters.

Overall it has been a good experience with very little difficulties in user management. I would recommend the software to other resorts without hesitation.

Semper PMS property solutions for us
We are extremely happy with the system and the support is exceptional.
Pros

Extremely User Friendly and Great Support

I have worked with Semper at Multiple Properties around South Africa and even opted to have Semper implemented in Botswana. I would not use any other PMS in future.
Cons
In my opinion I have not yet found any fault with Semper in order to advise on any improvements required.

Semper Software review
We have used the Semper system for many years now, it is easy to learn, easy to operate and the after sales service is phenomenal. Their channel management is the best and integrates perfectly with our marketing partners. The reports available from Semper is great and makes very accurate and timeous reporting possible.

Search option is easy. you just type name and you receive what you need

changing rates for all rooms is tedious. If the other rooms can pick up the rates it will be better

Hi Christabel, The web based system has a new rate management facility where rates are linked to each other. Change one rate and all linked rates get updated based on a pre-defined rule when they are linked. all online channels can also be updated with the change. all you need to do is change the rate in one place.
