The number one presentation software package

I've created innumerable presentations for clients big and small. In my many years of using the product and sending presentations to people all around the globe, I have never once had someone tell me they could not open a file or report any problems with their presentation. It takes some practice to truly master, but once you've spent quality time working with the software you can do some good stuff.

Pros

PowerPoint is a straightforward tool for making and showing presentations with an interface that is very much "what-you-see-is-what-you-get." It is also the dominant presentation software, meaning that you will probably never find a client or venue that will have problems with any presentation you created in PowerPoint. It is also rather versatile, allowing users to do far more that slide-based presentations. Users can create online slideshows, clickable infographics, and embed original graphics and videos.

Cons

Like all Microsoft products, PowerPoint has it's eccentricities. It could be more user-friendly, which is where some of the competing presentation apps excel. It is absolutely not good for creating original art or illustrations, even though many users seem to think so. If you want original graphics then you should be creating them in some other app (like Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) and then importing them into PowerPoint.

Alternatives Considered

Apache OpenOffice and Prezi

Reasons for Switching to Microsoft PowerPoint

The near-universal accessibility of PowerPoint makes it very easy to create presentations that anyone can watch. You don't want a client to have any trouble viewing or using the product, and PowerPoint is great for that.

Helping me for best presentation.

I am a trainer and giving training to rural and tribal area, PowerPoint presentation helps me with interesting training that women enjoy colourful slides videos and songs.

Pros

The number of templates accessible online and directly from them is amazing, and they are very simple to use for presentation. This software is flexible and may create basic or complicated follow-along slides with text and images to enhance learning.

Cons

For the past four years, I have been using PowerPoint. I did not discover any problems, however, there was one instance where the products suddenly ceased to function, and I lost the data I was working on at the moment.

My review after using PowerPoint

The advantages and disadvantages of PowerPoint introductions demonstrate that with watchful arranging, any account can be improved for the individuals who are partaking in the occasion. Without that arranging, the introduction may accomplish more damage than anything else to the account.

Pros

1. It is anything but difficult to download and utilize for all intents and purposes anyplace.

PowerPoint is viewed as a standard item in numerous expert settings. This enables you to take your client permit for all intents and purposes anyplace to most likely make the designs required for your introduction. It is so expected, truth be told, that you may make a negative early introduction in the event that you don't have a PowerPoint introduction to offer.

2. It can make an introduction all the more intriguing.

Notwithstanding intriguing introductions can become long and exhausting. With a vivified introduction or fascinating statements or other fun slides, you can bring individuals again from their fatigue.

3. It is anything but difficult to tweak each slide to address explicit issues.

Pictures on a slide can be diminished or expanded in scale to meet your requirements. It just takes a couple of snaps to embed, modify, and adjust pictures to make a required visual portrayal. You can even utilize bolts, pointers, or different shapes to feature key zones of data you need individuals to think about.

4. It is a basic procedure to make the track with hand-outs.

You can print each slide straightforwardly from PowerPoint. At that point, you can duplicate those slides to wind up an accommodating hand-out that can be given to every introduction member.

5. It is sensibly moderate for general experts.

Field-tested strategies for Office 365 begin at just shy of $10 eve

Cons

1. There's dependably the shot of running into specialized challenges.

Indeed, even technically knowledgeable people can keep running into introduction issues when the innovation doesn't function as planned. Possibly the PC quits working. Or on the other hand, you lose the capacity to your outlet. Or on the other hand, the overhead showcase doesn't work right. This can change the positive initial introduction of an introduction very rapidly.

2. Slides with a lot of data on them can end up overpowering.

Since there are such huge numbers of choices that can be incorporated on a PowerPoint introduction, it very well may be anything but difficult to go over the edge on the quantity of hues, sounds, shapes, and different things that can be utilized. By adding to numerous things, you can degrade the data that should be shared.

3. Is anything but a substitute for what a moderator must do.

Numerous who use PowerPoint will in general depend on the data on the slide as opposed to giving a learning account. It is anything but difficult to wind up excessively dependent on this product and overlook that there is a genuine introduction that should be finished.

4. Expenses are continually progressing.

Since it is a piece of the Office 365 bundle, you never again get an exclusive programming permit for one explicit expense. You should pay a month to month or yearly membership cost, which after some time can mean more than what the restrictive permit once advertised. You should

My Review: I Love PowerPoint

I literally live in PowerPoint and use it throughout every workday for presentation design: Doing countless updates to our firms capabilities presentations and creating strategy decks for clients. PowerPoint is my most used tool within my business other email.

Pros

It's easy to use and has ample utility for beginning or advanced users. It is platform that empowers users' creativity and I love it. It's recent upgrades to the image editing feature is a game changer, particularly the image sizing features when using them in presentations. But the image resolution and color adjustment features, not to mention the background remover allows me to take things to a different level.

Cons

No cons really just some feedback. While I love having the background removal feature, MS still has some work to do on the accuracy of that tool. Also, they need to add way more font option.

"The best tech presentation on the market-PowerPoint"

Microsoft PowerPoint is the best program I have ever used during my entire life.It is from the finest business in the world, such as Microsoft. Even after using it is court, I was pleased.PowerPoint is perfect as it also helps us to provide the same presentation through our computer screen, with our slides, animations, images , videos, media, reports etc. You never have to worry about losing your work or not being able to access it if the online platform ever goes away.

Pros

PowerPoint makes it possible for almost everyone to be on their game when delivering it to a client or to their company internally.Nonetheless, there are some features that can be very effective (timed slides, transitions / animations, Smart Art etc.) that can differentiate a basic presentation to a highly affecting one when used correctly. As part of PowerPoint, I can pre-record or speak live.I use PowerPoint to create event posters, meeting handouts, project timelines and even digital graphics for our online focus groups Instead of Photoshop. One can select from thousands of layouts right inside the app otherwise you will have the flexibility to form your claim one of a kind format that I liked over the pre-constructed formats.

Cons

PowerPoint has one drawback, if too many images and videos are added, you may quickly increase your file and get out of control. It is disappointing and frustrating that they also don't have animations inside table material. One of the problems with PowerPoint is that if too many images and videos are added, the file will easily increase and get out of control. This program needs to be revised more frequently and new features added everyday.

Pros

As a tutor, what I appreciate most about Microsoft PowerPoint is its ability to enhance learning experiences and facilitate effective presentations for my students. PowerPoint allows me to create visually engaging and professional-looking presentations with various slide layouts, themes, graphics, and multimedia elements that capture my students' attention and make complex concepts more accessible. It helps me structure my lessons and present information in a logical and organized manner, utilizing a sequence of slides to guide the flow of the lesson and ensure a clear delivery of content. The flexibility and customization options in PowerPoint allow me to easily modify fonts, colors, layouts, and incorporate charts, diagrams, and multimedia elements to reinforce concepts and demonstrate examples. I can integrate multimedia elements like images, videos, and audio clips into my presentations, supplementing teaching material with engaging visuals, demonstrations, or interactive activities that help reinforce student understanding. The interactive features in PowerPoint like slide transitions, animations, and hyperlinks create dynamic and interactive experiences, promoting student engagement and participation through discussions, quizzes, or guided exploration. PowerPoint also enables me to save presentations in various formats, making it convenient for students to access and review the material digitally or in print, even outside of the classroom or during remote learning. Cons

One main downside of PowerPoint is that it can lead to passive learning. If it's used simply to deliver information without actively involving students, it can limit their critical thinking and participation. To make PowerPoint more effective, it's important to encourage student interaction, discussion, and hands-on activities.

PowerPoint Review

I personally will always use PowerPoint. I feel like it's a easy software to use and can really help a presentation. It can easily set you apart from competition and make your professional game a lot stronger!

Pros

I have been using PowerPoint for well over 15 years. To use the product from my earlier years in school for presentations about Penguins to teaching Cultural Diversity in the Human Resources setting in my organization shows how this product can be used in so many different settings. I found it easy to learn the basics while in middle school and high school. Being a visual learner myself, this software is something that I can connect with on a personal basis. I believe using this software for your presentations helps deliver the message on another level with being able to catch the audience's attention and keep it.

I work as the Employment Coordinator/Recruiter with my company. I work with a lot of data. With me being a visual person, this software allows for me to get my data across in a way I'm comfortable with. I do this by using charts/graphs in the presentation. It allows me to show my leadership my data such as (applicant, education of applicant, experience of applicant, how many applicants) to them in a way that text and conversation can't do on it's on. This makes me look more professional and organized. It clearly shows my losses and success, my goals and my progress!

Cons

I think if you are not careful, you can get carried away with using too much text or too many images. There has to be a balance. I think it helps to get proper training/education on how to build an effective presentation.
Anyone can click around and enter text and images, but the audience may focus too much on what's on the screen and not what the actual message is. It's to aid in the presentation and the message, not take over and replace the presenter.

Also, the fact that you have to pay for it with a subscription monthly or annually can pose a problem for some.

Microsoft PowerPoint Review

Overall, an excellent presentation tool particularly if you have a hang of it. A very powerful tool when you reach higher levels of experience such as intermediate or expert user.

Pros

Microsoft Powerpoint makes it easy to create visually stunning presentations. This tool is easy to use and has an intuitive interface. This program is used every day by me at work. I also use it to create presentations for personal use.

This tool is beautifully designed and can be used to create professional presentations. It is easy to use, with an intuitive interface and many features.

Powerpoint is an excellent tool for sharing information and ideas and communicating with your team. To create and edit presentations, you can use the Powerpoint App.

PowerPoint is great for communicating a message or statistical data. You can customize each slide to suit your needs. PowerPoint is my favorite tool for presenting. It's very user-friendly and you can even see how your slides will look when they are handed out to employees or to the audience.

Microsoft Powerpoint is a great software for colleges, universities, businesses, and other organizations. It is a great tool for designing documents and thesis. It's easy to create beautiful presentations using simple documents. It makes it easy to communicate my ideas to people and at international levels.

Cons

You may have problems if you present on someone else’s computer. If you use special fonts in your slides, and they are not available on another computer, your presentation may not be as interesting. You may also encounter issues with VGA cards or HDMI cables, as well as adaptor and projector connectivity issues.

This software has one problem. Changes are not automatically saved. You will need to press Ctrl+S every time you want changes to be saved. Your hard work and data will be lost if your computer is shut down.

I use PowerPoint all the time. It is my primary presentation software.

We are able to create attractive bespoke presentations for internal use as well as client projects with ease.

Pros

I find ppt very easy to use, and have been using it since I can remember. It has all of the essentials I need to create a good looking, professional presentation, and features that make it look like I know a lot more about design than I do. Designing a background by uploading a file and making it transparent, for instance ... looks stellar. Adding in some animation also makes your presentation feel more interactive, but doesn't take much effort at all. The available icons make it look more modern. There are a number of features that contribute to ease of use as well. It is easy to paste graphics/text in (for instance, ours or a client's company logo) and insert other pictures and files. Things are easy to insert, move around, play with, duplicate and edit. I also appreciate that there are templates you can choose when you aren't feeling very inspired. There are usually multiple people who are looking at the same ppt in our company, so the ability to insert comments is also super helpful. All of this being said, I think the software has a lot of other capabilities and functionalities that I have most likely not explored. For instance, every time I ask my Director of Marketing about something related to ppt, she usually shows me something I did not know before, and says that she discovers these features solely by Googling how to do something.

Cons

One thing I would say that I would love to see is some sort of process map feature. When I need to make a very custom process map I use Gliffy, export the diagram, and copy/paste it into my ppt presentation. Also - and this is a big one - for whatever reason, I have a lot of trouble when I am using the Slide Master View to insert a logo which needs to be on every page. I have Googled it, played with it, and always end up doing it manually (as in, pasting our logo onto every single slide). To be honest it drives me NUTS.

Easily the most flexible presentation creator on the market

Having used this product to create multiple educational experiences with my staff, the ability for them to be able to retain both the presentation on the computer as well as to print a note taking version prior to the lecture is very beneficial. In our field (rehabilitation), PowerPoint allows the user to connect short video excerpts to get a detailed look at a specific skill and then return to a general presentation seamlessly. As updates with software or new laws enter into our field, PowerPoint can be used alongside a webinar platform to instruct many offices at the same time, ensuring that all employees receive the same information and have a way to bring the new information out into the field with us.

Pros

PowerPoint allows basic users to take a well designed template created by Microsoft and create a finished product by merely inserting information and pictures within its framework. Employees with more skill can develop more unique and integrated presentations, set them to automatically move through time within the talk, or incorporate outside video, music, or podcasts. This entire process can be downloaded into slides for people who are receiving the presentation to take notes on or to refer back to at a later date.

Cons

Employees with limited computer skills can find it difficult to see so many icons for choices on how to create slides. While the initial learning curve is moderately steep for these people, they seem to almost uniformly overcome it quickly and acquire a base level of user ability within a few presentations. The leap from basic to high end use does seem to require some know how with computer savvy in general, though I would surmise this to be true of any product in this field.

Support tool in my activity as a Teacher and Analyst of Investments and Business Opportunities

Portability of ideas, easy to outline and compile content to be exposed to various public, harmony of content, ease of operation, low consumption of resources on the PC and friendly and intuitive operability for the achievement of effective presentations.

Pros

I have used PowerPoint as a support tool in my professional activity as a teacher and analyst of investments and business opportunities, finding in its functionality the answer to my didactic, strategic and operative needs for the diffusion of knowledge, the explanation of diverse topics and the schematization of a great variety of contents destined to the visualization of audiences of very varied nature in environments of face-to-face and viirtual learning, as well as in environments of discussion, negotiation and socialization of plans and projects. This allows me to affirm that it is a tool that facilitates team work, the organization of content for its dissemination and the synchronous and asynchronous projection of topics.
PowerPoint is a friendly and intuitive software that allows the production and editing of content for both beginner and expert users, providing facilities for the inclusion of images, animations, and a great diversity of multimedia resources.
Considering the basic minimums in terms of content organization, color harmony and selection of relevant graphics and images, is an excellent companion in the execution of meetings, classes, tutorials, brainstorming sessions, among other forms of exchange and individual and / or group job with teamworks.
In addition, the possibility of exporting the product made with PowerPoint as a video, gives it a plus that can not be ignored, as it obtains greater portability of the resources produced with this tool.

Cons

In some versions, design elements are lost due to incompatibility with previous versions and, mainly, due to incompatibility with free software.
Similarly, as a frequent user of the program, I would expect more freedom and openness for the edition of the SmartArts in response to the needs of the users without presenting such noticeable alterations in the proportion and distribution of the graphics that make them up.

PowerPoint flexibility and customization

As a journalist, it is one of my favorite tools because it is useful and easy to handle. Benefits I have had many, among the most outstanding I can say, integration of information, preparation of journalistic products for various
formats and platforms, advertising strategies designs, allows me to play with creativity when it comes to offering in the sales approach, in my case, tour packages. It is a program that adapts to the responsibility that you have at work.

Pros

The tools and resources of PowerPoint make it an easy program to use, I as a user can use predesigned templates and customize them according to what I want to project.
It is very useful for me, since I can present concrete data as statistical elements, images and graphics according to what I am going to report. In my case, journalistic information and tourist packages.
PowerPoint for me is a very important tool for the business sector, especially because I manage the sales and public relations part. Always with the slides I am looking for an attractive way to project data and all that illustrative content that allows me to share relevant information about the products, services or corporate image that is being represented.

Cons

Some details that can be adjusted, very brief elements, the theme of the templates should always be updated, you should have more options, especially business formats. The topic of the size of the formats, currently PowerPoin is a tool for the Community Manager, should adapt it for those demands. For the rest I think that its elements are focused, only that they must constantly update them due to the technological evolution that we have.

Awesome application with endless features!

Pros

I have been using PowerPoint for years for my own presentations and to edit presentations for c-level executives at conferences. I've learned that PowerPoint can do a lot more than I thought. One of its capabilities I love the most is that I can insert vector files from Adobe Illustrator onto a PowerPoint slide and the formatting doesn't change. This is great when someone from sales needs an infographic I previously designed added to their presentation. And when I'm building something from scratch within PowerPoint, there are a lot of design features that allow me to build graphics just as vibrant as those built with an Adobe application. The shapes and icons that are already installed look great, I can format their dimensions to make everything look uniform, the animations are easy to apply to each image or shape, and it's honestly even easier to use than Illustrator. PowerPoint is way more than just text on slides. You can easily create a visually dynamic presentation if you take a closer look at its design features. I love all of them.

Cons

The hardest part about using PowerPoint is when you're trying to create slide templates using the Slide Master feature. The logos, fonts, colors, headers or whatever you use on the template will stay put on the slide unless you go back into Slide Master mode to made edits to the template. But there were times when the person I shared a template with wanted to make a change or remove something from the template to make an especially large graphic fit on a slide. This created extra work for me because PowerPoint's Slide Master mode is a bit difficult to understand and I end up having to go back and help people make changes, which defeats the purpose of having a template. I wish it were easier to use for beginners.

PowerPoint - One of the best presentation application

Yet another amazing app by the MS team. With this software, you can take control of the show. I have been working with this application since 2007 to present and don't think I will move to any other app on the market.

Pros

PowerPoint - One of the best presentation application on the market. It has been a pleasure working with this software on a daily basis while doing New Hire Training at the company I worked. It has the familiar ribbon that all Microsoft Office users have come to love and adore. This piece of software is like a masterpiece with numerous advance feature that you might not completely take advantage of throughout your lifetime. Just to name a few of its' madness:

* It has the amazing File menu with loads of configurable options.
* The Insert ribbon houses tons of cool insert options to add pictures, audio and video to your customized slide and slide shows.
* The cool draw option give you the sketch feel to markup on the presentation to draw attention to the viewers.
* Under design you can select from a selection of templates or better yet, create your own which can also be saved to the list.
* Transition give your slides that in or out effect when moving from one slide to another.
* Animation add yet another dimension to the presentation, which allows the presenter command the content on the slide to do something cool and amazing to keep the focus.
* like other apps in the MS suite, PowerPoint also has macros and VBA, allowing you to make things happen on the fly.

Cons

I have no dislikes at the moment for this software.

Having been a MSc Finance and Banking student and a bookkeeper , I have utilized PowerPoint on a week after week basis, and have made hundreds of introductions all through the a long time. The popularity of this app makes it a parcel more transferable. One of the critical highlights that have been included to PowerPoint as of late is the symbols. I utilize them broadly and they make presentations simple to understand.

Cons

Since my work with the computer program, I didn't have any issues that caused me to loathe the computer program. I found it exceptionally valuable, simple to utilize and imaginative. And through time the item flabbergasts me with modern and modern highlights which make my work looks superior.

More than a Presentation

Awesome, First-class, Full with a lot of Potentiality and learning with proper preparation.

Pros

PowerPoint is an tool to present a report or analysis with a very good outlook and understanding. I normally use it every as I am a presenter in my team and I work over the dates and presentations a lot. I generally knows all important featue of PPT and of course a lot more to be known in the coming time. I had also created a MCQ question on PPT and it works superbly via hyperlink function. Also animation is an icing on cake for the presenters. I use a less amount of animation as I am using it for a professional purpose. Secondly I had also created poster in PPT as it is one hidden feature which many didn't know. But poster presentation is a great feature of PPT. The tables can also be linked with respected excel via embedded feature which I use a lot .

Cons

Not a much, but if the suggestion of ideas sections can be given some more degree of freedom ny which the presentation can be improved a lot. Secondly auto animation feature can be a game changing feature if the company can have a thought over it.

Presentation Software for Business and School

Overall, this software has been incredibly valuable. I have been using it now for almost 20 years. I have always loved the way the software works, the ease of use, variety of customization settings, and its ability to present anything I need. I currently use it to teach lessons in a church and school setting with video, text, and charts/spreadsheets. It has helped me numerous times present content in a simple, fun, and engaging way.

Pros

Microsoft PowerPoint is an essential tool in my business and school toolbox. I use PowerPoint weekly to create mostly text presentations that teach and share ideas. What I like most:
1. Ease of use:
- There are built in templates ready for me to begin designing my slides.
- All the tools I need to create slides are at the top and right hand side easy for me to access.
- A slide pane on the left helps me see where I am in my presentation and select individual slides for editing.
- Presentation is simple, just the click of the spacebar, arrow, mouse, or presenter allows me to advance my slides or go back.
2. Autosave: There are times when I have to leave my desk and my project will auto save.
3. Presentation Mode: I use this mode when I "extend my desktop" for use with a projector (you can access this setting by typing "project" in the search bar on a Windows 10 computer). Presentation mode allows me to see what slide I am currently on, what slide is next, and has a timer to see how long my presentation has been going. It also has features like play, back, forward, etc...
4. Embedding: PowerPoint allows me to embed audio files, video files, spreadsheets, word docs, or pdf into the slides. It is great to be able to incorporate the necessary things I need to present my project or lesson.
5. Transitions and Animations: The transitions and animations feature is helpful because it includes a lot of pre-programmed settings to creatively change between slides or text.

Cons

Here are a few things I dislike about the software:
1. The presentation software only works linearly. What I mean by that is I cannot jump between slides or make a uniquely motioned presentation like Prezi. PowerPoint simply goes from one slide to the next to the next. While PowerPoint more than makes up for this with the animations and transitions offered and its ease of use, I do wish it had some of the unique features of Prezi.
2. I find the animations feature to be a bit difficult. It isn't as intuitive as I would like. What I mean by that is when I do bullet points for a lesson outline I have to select the text I want to animate, then select the animation I want, then select "Move Forward on Click" in order to get the presentation points to go 1, 2, 3, 4, etc... instead of the default, which is all at once. I find it a bit cumbersome.
3. One could argue that while customization is a bonus of PowerPoint, it can also be a negative. The software requires a bit of a learning curve.

The program you must have

I would highly recommend this to any financial advisor who wants to present a pre-view of the final product, it is easy to use, it allows you to present graphics that helps you with the presentation and to further understand the products possible results. I use this program since I’m in school, at least 10 years, and this program has had a lot of improvements, which I appreciate, as it has help me developed better as a professional by having better experiences when doing presentations

Pros

Everyone know at or at least have an idea of what is ppt and how to use it. Is the most widely used and available software and it is just as useful in the business world as it is in classrooms. The program has multiple tools and powerfull features that help any type of professional in any circumstance, furthermore, is compatible with the majority of the computers, so the file can be opened in any device and can be connected with other Microsoft programs such as Excel when talking about graphs. It has a wonderful mopbile app that works very well and allows to edit your work anywhere, not necessarily with a computer.

Cons

The final file of PPT is lo large, which complicates the process of sending it through email, and in some cases, to even open the file. Furthermore, the app doesn’t help you with a color pallet, and in so many cases templates are way to repeated, instead of providing options considering the background of the user. The special effects are, in my opinion a distraction from the purpose of the presentations. One of the flaws this program has, is that when working with vectorial images, which are the most used currently to have a better quality, it doesn’t have the capacity to groupe all the pieces together, so every time you want to move or adjust the image, you have to select every piece to move it properly.

Pros

I like this software that can now be used in different operating systems in addition to having user-friendly tools allowing generating ideas and creativity with each of these tools within the software. The ability to download this tool on any device facilitates the creation of executive and school presentation work. The templates that are predetermined are attractive that facilitate the creation of a dynamic graphic and visual content.

In a professional environment, I think it is the simplest and has many features (add-ons) to express any complex idea in a simple way to the end user or in a team meeting. Microsoft PowerPoint is an easy-to-use and powerful program. Continue to improve the program and continue to benefit from these products that allow us to teach others and share details. I have been using Powerpoint for more than 10 years to create presentations in all areas of my life. At work, when I was at school and at home with children. I really like the simplicity of the program and its ability. It makes my presentations fun and interesting due to its features such as animations, color-coded themes and fun templates. Let me start by saying that it is the software of all the educators and presenters (at least in my field) like me. It makes it easy not only to present information professionally, but it can also be used to edit photos, create instructions and format photos and text in

Cons

Its license is very expensive, it loses the structure of the slides when it is used in free software. Computers must have a lot of capacity to implement presentations without problems. Your files are very capable.

Maybe I can say that this is the problem of Powerpoint:when you want to insert large files as videos, it takes a long time, but I do not know if it is a program or a computer.
Although PowerPoint offers many different types of templates for you to use in your presentations, which makes it much easier to create professional-looking slide shows, you can not edit these templates. This has been a big negative for me, since there are many times when I want to use a template but I do not want everything to be included; You may need to delete a graphic or a form, but it is not possible. When you use a template, you must keep the funds the same. This often means that I can not use a template and I have to create my presentation from scratch.

From a design point of view, Powerpoint still has a lot to do to increase ease of use. The whole concept of inserting shapes and selecting multiple shapes at the same time to change something like the thickness of the color or stroke is very difficult. I would really like to see an improvement in the design tools they offer in the program, not only to make it easier but also to allow a more complex design to occur.

To say that I do not like something about Powerpoint would be false for me, since I do not really see anything i
